Descent autoX results
I went to a Porsche Owners Club race on January 21st and just saw the final results. This is a bush league AutoX event so there are no clases, just raw times. If my counting is correct I finished 12th of 60 drivers and managed to beat 8 of the 11 Porsche's on the field. My fiance finished 30th beating 7 of the Posches and this is only her 2nd event ever! I'm Bert and her name is Shelly. Here is a picture of the results:

Not only that, both you and your wife beat the other fOCUS (Gabriel).

What class would you be in per SCCA rules?
Are you H-Stock, STS, or...?
Never mind, just looked at your web page.
Looks like DSP. (RT CAT, Stage 2 cams, and SS brake lines...)

Awesome to hear! I almost forgot about the Porsche Club that does autocross and whatnot out here. I really need to look into their schedule to see when they're running this season. Man, I'd love to see more Porsches in action.

I attend Mustang club events too, and don't forget about the BMW club events either. They are almost always willing to let other competitors in to spread the cost...

I'm still a little new to AutoX and had someone at an event help me find my class. They told me I was in SM. Should I stay in SM or move to DSP?

Nope, Shelly was about 2 seconds behind me. She looks like she going faster becuase the drives the car so hard

Don't sweat the results man. Very few people do really well their first time. Just keep comming to events and you will start to finish very well. This is my 4th event and I already drive worlds better than my first time.
