hm surprised i didn't see this post before. i had the same problem while i was brushing snow off the car, i had my billet shorty antenna on and since its not flexible and it was cold the threads snapped off like a twig. however i got fords extended warranty, it was covered. mind you couple hundred vs a couple dollars...eh....lol

Wow, 120 dollars for that, it costed me only 6.49 for the antenna mount, 26 bucks for the antenna, and 1 minute to removed the dome lamp with a flat scredriver, used my torx screwdriver for the mount, and hand tighten the antenna. About 5 minutes in total time. Good to hear my ipod again thru my FM.

redmenace... why would you go through that work to fix your antenna to listen to your ipod through the FM radio? that is such crappy quality, you are better off doing what I did: http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s...t=59651&page=2

I took off the dome lamp and plastic part, but I just can't get good access to the base mount. What tools are you using?? Any suggestions?
