Petition to Speed Channel to return WRC

Hmm, so this could be Speed's way of telling the FIA to take their charges and shove it up their... yeah. I'd be interested to find out the truth as to the true reason behind no FIA progrmaming. I think you're right, though. It doesn't make a lot of sense that not just the WRC was dropped, but all FIA programming is no longer scheduled on Speed.

This thread was started the 20th of this month at about 3,500 signatures thus far. It is now Jan 28th and there are approximately 13,125 signatures so far. I figured it would have begun to increase much faster as more and more people saw it, but it seems to be following a consistent rate. On average, we're getting roughly 1,000 signatures per day. In about 50 more days then, we should expect to reach the previous petition amount of 65,000 signatures.

So, any updates as to whether or not Speed is behind the listing cancellations or if the FIA is?

Man, it's really slowing down now. If we can't generate enough interest, why should Speed even care? I sent this out to my friends to at least get those extra signatures, and I've posted it on local and other forums.

Not a good sign. I hate to be a pessimist, but I don't think we'll be seeing the likes of some racing over that many signatures. Unless, there is pull from somewhere else, it looks like the internet and text news is the way to stay up-to-date. What a shame...
