cabin air filter ?

Does anyone know if Ford installs the cabin air filter in the SVTs at assembly? Or is the filter left off like regular Foci ?

I don't think the SVT has a cabin air filter, or at least mine dosen't. When it rains or is wet and I turn the heat/air conditioner it smell like moldy air.

It's left off like the regular foci as Ford got cheap with the American market and decided it was a cost cutter! Go to www.myfordfocus.com and look at the how-to-library for information it... It gives detailed info on part numbers and installation.

For $10, yes. Anyone know if Autozone, Murray's, etc. carry this?

Any owner of a Foci that doesn't have one installed is dumb and wasting there time cleaning their interior, not trying to be mean by calling people dumb but that was the first thing I did as I live in a dusty area and I clean the dash maybe one every 3 months. (if that) Before I had to clean it once a week.

lol, no. What LiquidGray said and if you hurry you can watch an episode at 11:45pm on Cartoon Network. However it's Adult Swim (watch and you'll understand [not porno]) so if you have kids tuck them in.

Yes, get the cabin air filter (aka Pollen Filter). It will make a difference in keeping crap out of the cabin.
