Stage 4 Clutch and Stock Flywheel

I had planned on getting a Fidanza flywheel to go along with my CM Stage 4 clutch, but I will be short this paycheck due to me having days off for my operation. My entire next paycheck will make the car payment, so if I were to get a Fidanza it would be 5 weeks - I really don't see my clutch lasting that long.

Would a CM Stage 4 clutch work with a stock flywheel? I'd really like to get the Fidanza but the finances aren't there.

Getting another clutch without another flywheel is like changing the oil in your car without changing the filter or changing the spark plugs without the wires....even worse in your case because you can't just throw one in.

I would nurse the clutch until the finances are there and do it the right way.

Couldn't you take out a small loan?

Believe me, I baby it around town.

Loan is not possible seeing as I'm only 16.

Stage 4 is to hold the juice. I go to the drag strip every other month at private days, and autocross once a month so I need everything I can get.

Well, there you go. If you go to the drag strip and autocross frequently, do the clutch replacement the right way. If nothing else, hit up mom and dad for the cash for a few weeks, then pay them back.

Their names are already on 4 car loans, a boat, a camper, and a house loan....It's not feasible.

I'll just continue taking it easy...

I think that is the best bet.
