Installment one of my winter project pics

OK, it is winter, and I have little to do car wise except work on work on my winter projects, so here is what I have gotten in so far.

The full Zex direct port system is in and should be in by Tuesday for the World of Wheels show I brought the Focus out of hibernation for.

The false floor is in for the nitrous tanks, a very nice half inch plywood floor, doesn't weigh much at all. The guy did a great job on it, very secure and with an underside lip to eliminate sagging from the bottle weight. Also, the factory carpet covers it up completely. If anybody is interested in having the guy who made this make one for their car, let me know, he is damned good and inexpensive.

My 17" wheels for racing made it in, but they are off to the paint shop to get the color I want.

The Lakewood traction bars came in, but obviously they do me no good on the kitchen floor, soon enough though

I will post more pics from the World of Wheels show next weekend.

If he can make a false floor for a system, then I might be interested if it's a decent price.

Have fun with all your new toys.

Good call, BSA 333s, damn nice wheel that they discontinued in our bolt pattern. I found these for $201 on ebay...for all four. They make lighter wheels (these are just shy of 19lbs) but my 18's are 21 a piece.

He used the existing carpet from the truck as a template, then shaved 1/4 inch all the way around with a router. I paid $70 for the entire thing, and that is oak wood, not your usual plywood. Shipping would be a snap. I am sure he could build something out over where the read seat used to be.

I have to decide a color tomorrow morning when I drop the wheel soff at the shop Ash, probably a granite color.
