I probably got just over 3K invested so far. I only paid 10K for my ZX3 brand new. I figure I am going to put another 4 or 5K into it before I am done. For 18 or 19K I don't think I would be able to get a better performing car.

As of Today, I've spent in the neighborhood of $4000.00, but that includes things that needed fixing right after the purchase. This Summer, I will be doubling that # with a built and boosted d23 swap...

Close to 2000

Thats purchasing the SPI to Zetec Swap everything needed for the swap still have to do it.
So

Spi-zetec swap
B&G Lowering kit
k&N Short Ram air intake
PCV breather filter
shortie antennae
Cross drilled and slotted rotors up front
Custom designed zetec intake manifold

and im sure im forgetting something
thats just Modifications

I spent probably around 800 after i got the focus just to get it fixed from the previous dipshit owner

that does not inlude gas

I just bought in the past 2 months:
EAP rims w/ new rubber
k2motor ebay projectors
ford racing sts
Luk clutch/fw kit
Tom's tune
K & N sri (slightly used for $50, a steal imo)
new alpine HU
new water pump
dogbone mount bushings
taylor plug wires
new plugs
2 rear wheel bearings
lunchbox removal stuff
battery
alternator
timing belt
and i actually paid to have my timing belt/water pump/clutch/fw to be installed since I didn't have the time and I even had access to a car lift but i only paid $800 to have it all done including having the bushings thrown in while he was at it

end result runs like top and a few grand poorer
coming soon:
full exhaust(maybe)
shift knob
new amp/woofer
new ford racing struts
lowering springs
tint
and then the debate of FI or just get the car i want when i get out of college in a year
(either g37x, Focus RS if it gets here, or replace my truck)
