Couple of Mod Questions

Hi folks,

Total virgin when it comes to car mods (if you exclude fitting a new HU which doesn't take much talent!) with a Focus 1.6 Zetec (EU).

At the moment it pretty much looks like this:

What I would like to do with it first is get rid of the black trim around the front and side of the car - body coloured alternatives would be ideal but I have no idea if you can actually buy them.

Would I need to remove them and have them sprayed?

Also I really like the look of:

Although I've heard that they can be a pain to fit?
If anyone has any other halo style headlights which look good could you link me to them please?

Cheers

Those lights often get terrible throw, apparently especially the Chrome ones. Also, you can get em off Ebay for a quarter the price...

I think that it would be easiest to have a shop paint your trim pieces. Since you are in the UK, I would give http://www.european-parts.net a look. They have a lot of nice headlights and other modifications/accessories, especially for the european style focus.

Cheers!

Thanks!

This is the best pic I think of what I'm looking for RE the trim:
