Well I got it all installed...since I did not know the pin out for the TPS, I did not solder the wires on the ends of the tps, when I first started it, it idled really high, switched these wires around, and, it works just fine now.
My window switch does not turn on, so, its stuck in short runner mode, I ran all the wires like the wiring diagram say to, but, I see no point where the setup gets a 12v source? Out of the 6 wires used on the IMRC pigtail, 2 are unused, and, if I followed my ford wiring diagram, 2 are grounded, and the other 2 run to the window switch, on the window switch, 1 wire is gounded, 1 runs to my coil pack, black/green wire, and, 1 wire is on used, the NO wire I believe. Also, the 2 penny trick didn't work for me, I am still getting an air leak so I am going to try a pipe plug later on today. |

Ok looking at the diagram some more and my diagrams from ford, the green/white wire and the red wire, that, in the diagram, show being connected?, should be on a switched ignition source, so, the window switch and the imrc turn on when the car is on, otherwise, to me, it doesn't work...then, the window switch should remove the ground for the IMRC, so pin 1 or 3 should be on the grey wire? On my diagram for the pin out, it shows that pin 3 is a ground, and, pin 1 is IMRC control module...

Ok I got this hum-diniger all wired up.
On the wiring diagram, Take the red wire and the green/white wire, run these to the switched output on a relay, run your constat and neg/ground to the relay like normal, the trigger wire we ran to a switched fuse in the under hood fuse box, I mounted my window switch on firewall. Will have some pics soon. |
