Now he is going to a hellion turbo because he has tuned a few turbo cars and loves them. Yes, I did say tune, he is an SCT tuner . With about 13 psi, which is quite a bit lower than 23, since there is less stress on the motor from no belt driven blower The Cobra will do 10s, with the short block being rebuilt, it will definitely do 10s. The turbo kit is a 76mm I think with dual wastegates...it will be sick with the automatic. With 22 psi, it will run 9s. With 15 psi + 150 shot, it willl be deep into the 9s Coming soon this summer.

Yes, if you were wondering, he did tune the focus, and is also co-owner of Billetspeed/Innovative Diesel Performance...

And I believe he is on modfords.com and SVT performance, but mostly on modfords.
Ahh ok. The fog has cleared.
If he races at Pittsburgh Raceway Park or Mason Dixon in Hagerstown MD I may have seen/met him.
I think both of those are kinda far from you though.
What's your dad's name on modfords?

Now, I need to know if the mustang is stock or what?
Ever since the 05 GT came out there has been a huge parts market for them. I honestly doubt that a foucs w/ a fair bit put into it still beat a Striaght up mustang.

it wont beat a 05 GT, those 3-valve motors are awesome...the 2-valve motors arnt very spunky stock, they sound good though with an exhaust

cobra's rear ends are terrible, stock cobra's bust rear ends with slicks. not fun. if your gunna mod a mustang make sure you beef up the rear end. other than that they are solid cars to modify.

i supose every car has a weak point(s)

mustang gt's are not that fast except for the 05 which scoots faster. like uncle vinney's sig says something like "how fast do you want to go and how much money do you have" something like that.

correction, it is terrible in STOCK form for drag racing...road racing it is awesome. But I have seen cobra's with beefed IRSs that have held up to launcging hard, yanking the front wheels off the ground. Of course, they had like Level 5 half shaft .

Slowly creeping off subject haha

Well his is stock and actually i don't know if i will ttake him i'm hoping to. I'm going to reduce the weight in the focus and i'm getting it bored for christmas i found out. 30 over is god! And the works so hopefully the bottom end will hold when i start droppin some real heavy loads on it. plus for christmas i'm getting a 2.3L duratec bottom end so i can start building my own engine so i see a frankenstein focus in the making :). Every mustang beware of that. But yes his is stock. its a five speed but it won't be tuned and i'm going to be tuned with basically every bolt on and some engine work so whats the word on that? And on a road race comparing a mustang with a focus is a joke. I've seen very talented drivers race a circuit against me and get there ass handed to em just because i can take a corner quicker. They might be able to slide that ass end out but i can keep my tires glued to the road. It all depends the better they are the closer it gets. I've only had one car beat me in corners and that was a Lancer Evo. Bastard barely won and it was because of a turbo but for an almost stock focus with some experienced driving behind it. i did very damn well. And also found out all wheel drive isn't as good at cornering as its made out to be. Either that or he really hella couldn't drive but hey lol either one works at least i made it close and look good. :) But ya give me some word on what ya think. And any advice on what i should do with the 2.3 would be accepted. Can the 2.3 be bored and stroked? just wondering.
