It is the only style that FC ever built for the SVT....there is no reverse lockout on a SVT.

could you possibly measure how much shorter this one is compared to the steeda (just the stick mainly)

The FC is about 1.5 inches shorter when you line up the pivot balls, but the Steeda is longer from the pivot ball down than the FC which also effects the ratio as well. The Steeda comes with a plate to move the pivot ball up, so the bottom of the shifter does not hit the floor below.

I hope this helps. I have both kinds in stock.
