awsome...hittin the rev limiter is a way of your engine sayin.."ok, good enough" so unless you do it like its goin outa style, i wouldnt worry about it..i pinch the limiter on every powershift, gives a good poppin noise when shifting gears, especially when you have a recorder and you have a driveby and right when you get to the camera powershift and POW.....kickass

I hit the rev limiter in my SVTF every day, almost every time I take off in 1st gear she hits the limiter. Some days if I'm really pissed, I will hit the limiter in 1st through 4th. I now have 31K miles and nothing blew up yet. The limiter is there for a reason, because that is the RPM's that the motor can handle safely. As long as you don't downshift and go past 7500 RPM, you should be fine.

Shouldn't be hitting the rev limiter THAT often, but the saying goes 'no harm no foul'.

I am looking for either some 5spoke SVT wheels or RS wheels at a good price, send me a PM (preferably with existing tires.. preferably with existing tred heheheh) or maybe even some of the euro 15 (is it 15?) spoke wheels, black.

the rev limiter is there for a reason so it shouldn't be that big of a deal the only thing occurs is that the fuel cutts off other than that you shoudl be fine.

The rev limiter doesn't keep the motor from free-turning, but that would only be a problem on a 1-2-3-2.
