Vortech and Cams...

Before I get the Vortech I am going to get cams and I would like to know what your opinions on the best type of cam to go along with the Vortech would be. I was thinking of FR stage 1 or 2. I don't know about the new crower 1's because they are pretty aggressive now. Also, I know that I would have to get rid of my UDP in place of a new pulley, so, where do I get one and how much psi do you think the aftercooled vortech can handle on the zetec? And with the pulley, if I want let's say 10 psi do I just get a 10 pound pulley kinda thing?

the kit is designed for about 8psi which is good for about 195hp and 170tq at the flywheel.

yes, if you want to turn up the boost you do it with different pulleys. But you'll have to determine how much your stock internals and tranny can handle, i would lower the compression to play it safe. After that it's just a matter of having the right amount of fuel and spark to turn up the boost which is cheaper said than done.

May I ask why the vortech and not the jackson racing?
