its very difficult to get super low 60' with an SVT. Launching is hard, and the traction control is always an issue. THe best I've seen is a 2.2 on street tires.

you cannot hit 13's with out a BIG power adder, you are a low 15 second car. do you realize how hard it is to bang a second off your time? im not deliberatly trying to sound like an ass hole but its the truth.

maybe when fs comes out with that head it can be done..but with whats out right now, your right
save those tires man, i use my old stock tires and take out alot of air in them and burn out prior to running and it works great, as long as you bring some more tires in case of a blow out

You act like I'm some ricer in a 59whp civic.

Car got tuned today, and the spray goes on soon. It'll also be dyno tuned shortly.

2.2 as in 2.200? 2.209?

Nice job on the runs 22slow! Good consistancy, nice progress. Let us know what you run with the tune and Nitrous.

Digging through my timeslips today I noticed that particular run wasn't my best 60' as I had thought. I ran a 2.271, and was faster through the 1/8th, but slower at 1000 and 1320 (clutch starting slipping bad).

I was wondering about your clutch with 31 (at least) runs.

Unless I've lost some of my time slips I've got 19 runs on my car, with a best 60' of 2.29. More traction might help my e.t. but those spinning tires help ease the shock to the clutch.

It wasn't from the runs. The best 60' (that 2.271) was only my 3rd pass. The clutch has been slipping for awhile now, considering the tards whom installed it did it poorly (didn't replace slave cylinder, greasy hands all over clutch disc, etc, etc).

I got the receipt from the dealer where I bought the car today (they had it changed). It has a 1 year warranty. They can either provide me with a clutch and slave cylinder to replace their shitty work (I won't let them touch my car), or I can take them to small claims court. I'd hope they choose to settle.
