Hood liner with new CF hood

Well, I just recently purchased a CF hood for the focus. Thing is, I think the underside is really ugly. So I was thinking about putting a hood liner from Dynamat under it. Also, would it put too much strain on the lack hole for propping up the hood, being the the hood liner would weigh 3-4 lbs?

It would sag more when propped, you might want to think about struts to put on it.

....i always thought cf hoods were for lightness... who the hell cares about the underside.

if you have a cf hood... keep it light
