once you hit 5K in 1st, which generally takes about 1/4 a second if you launch right, the car never drops below 5000-5200 unless you [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]* up royally

A modded N/A Zetec has a very good chance against a stock SVT.
First of all the SVT is heavier by a few hundred pounds. Then theres the gears. 1st and 2nd gear are very tall while 3rd and 4th are very short. If you can get a big enough lead from the launch through 1st-2nd gear theres a good chance he won't catch back up. The normal zetec and the SVT zetec have their strengths. The normal zetec is good for short from a dig races as the low end torque gets it going rather quickly, while the svt zetec is better for a top end race.

not only are you wrong on every point you've made except 1st gear being tall, but they've already been discussed and disproven had you bothered to read any of the 7 pages before posting. since you're new here i'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but in the future please read prior to posting. and for new ideas that come up, do a forum search prior to posting.
