not diameter, the cubic size the question is. i dunno the difference between the piston height in the rs block and normal short block. if the cylinder head chamber is bigger in the RS cylinder head than the compression ratio will not change to much with the rs short block.

so actually the compression ratio difference is on the basis of the pistons (short block rs vs normal short block) or/and the rs cylinder head chamber volume is higher than standard cylinder head chamber.

well the zetec info is as follows;

disp. 1989cc
bore : 84.8 mm
stroke : 88.0 mm
C/R : 10.0:1

as i know RS disp. is 1991cc but i am not sure about the RS...

on the basis of the above, the cylinder head is the same regarding volume inside. they prefer to use RS pistons/rod in a brand new zetec block.
getting closer and closer, day by day;)

BTW i was watching the "5th gear" he was testing the SRT-10... he said i wont pay a single penny for that thing LOL he said the car is horrible... damn ...

Thx! hope can solve this turbo miseria in a month or two.
