I had no idea the RS has such a wide body.

It looks really aggressive, it looks really good, I wish I had those skills.

ah, ecu you mean. Gooood question. We have a guy here in hungary who can program and extra chip for the the ecu. this card can be atteched to the ecu, like diablo chip and others in the us. Guys says that can make extra control stuff and attach to this card for turbo applications. i want to have piggyback stuff, not stand alone ecu. i want to have my abs/esp and other stuff i like in my car;)

Other possibility will be unichip.

Any suggestion from your side?

i am also in the search for the best way to program the European focus ECU...

there are some guys that says that they can make it with chip or piggybacks like unichip but some says that this wont be a reliable solutuion...

As far as i find; the best way is buying a stand alone ECU and using it inline with the standart ECU... engine management will be done by the stand alone and rest willbe done by the stock ECU like ESP ABS SRS etc...

UK guys mostly use OMEX or PECTEL for their turbo applications... DTA can also be used HALTECH seems very compotative as pirce and the properties of the ECU...

there is also an option like buying a US ECU and programing it as the Us guys do :)
it seems like it could be done but needs testing... if it will work i think that will be a very good and may be cheap way for EMS...
if u can find a second hand US ECU in a good condition for Zetec 2.0 u can buy and see if it will work... by that way u will also end my thoughts of "can it be?" can it be?" can it be... :D LOL

Talked to the guy at unichip. He said it's not a problem they made recently a turbo mondeo with zetec 2.0 engine. He said if i can get the RS short block that would be good.

He is thinkig to use 2 + injectors or uprated 4 new one.
Will meet the guys next week and discuss everything.

We will check everything, step by step. Still have big question: the chamber volume in the rs cylinder head is the same like in the standard 2.0?

are u asking the volume or chamber diameter?

as i know u are going to buy the short block+crank+piston+rods and you r going to put the zetec head on it right? according to that u will be using RS block and RS pistons right?

are you just wondering about the volume?
