HID to regular

So I have a 2004 SVT with the Euro package that has the HIDs. I wanna put these black background halo lights I found on eBay but I heard that regular lights don't fit into the HID SVTs. Anyone know if it's possible? Here's the link: http://m.ebay.com/itm/301084821177

They do fit but the plug would need to be rewired. Please keep the original HID setup. They are worth a lot of money. Just go to your local junk yard and cut pigtails off a ZX3

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON EBAY CRAP. You already have some of the best light you can buy for a Focus.

I'm assuming all your really looking for are black housing inside the headlights. If that's all, you'll be much better off removing the lenses and blacking out the housings yourself. Hopefully someone has a much better link for this but here's what they can potentially look like.

Whatever you do, do NOT get rid of the Machs for something else. In terms of light output and looks, they can't be beat.

Painting the inserts black is not a very tough task. Here's the how-to I used:
cayse.firstgenfocus.com/focus/paintedhids.doc

And here's my results:

I even have a comparison shot! BTW, that's stealthzx3's car with the Ebay lights. He never really liked them, and has since installed stock black housing SVT lights, my car's original ones that I sold to him actually.

The do have some "eBay" lights with the correct pigtail for Mach lights, you just have to look harder.

Here's how mine turned out...

Where did you get the grill with the yellow outline and no marker lights? Looks awesome.

It's a Euro 2002 facelift grill, you can find them on eBay.co.uk or batinc.net

I really got it from CFM... very shortly after they stopped selling grills. I painted it to look like the more rare and expensive ST170 grill.
