"How-to" for start button

Does the same method of installing a Start Button work on the 2005-2006 US-spec Focus? The interior is a bit different. Pic of my interior:

It should work just as good in that outlet there. The Ford GT start button has a good bit of flexability as to how think a panel its mounted too.

I have my key and it will go into the ignition, but it will not turn. I don't want to have to pay to get this fixed, as it's the second time this has happened. If this will work, it'll be just what I need. So will this work if my key will not turn? Thanks.

this happened to me last week, and the wheel would not unlock itself. Its the ignition cylinder most likly, and your going to have to get it replaced if you wanna drive your car. Are you still under warrenty, b/c if so you can get it all done for free, as i did. Youll have to have your car towed though. Sorry but this is what youll have to do.

I get both D-plan and an employee discount off of parts...but the Ford GT start button is $107? Wow, I'd rather get the S2000 starter button for ~$35. As much as I'd rather have the Aston starter button...I'd imagine that little piece being ~$300 or so.

To the guy that did the S2000 button mod, how hard was it to adapt that button compared with the Ford GT button? This is a relitively cheap mod that offers some good results. I think it'd be pimp as hell to have a starter button.

by the way that Ford Button looks awesome, but the price is ridiculous high. The only thing different i seen is that the ford cables looks already welded and the s2000 you have to create the plug or weld the cable directly,, i create a plug just in case the button goes bad all i have to do is replace with new one and don't have to re-weld

Its not bad when I can have it split up out of my paycheck, lol. I still hated paying that, but its nice, lol. By the way, when are you guys going to G2G again?
