got owned tonight, need help

i'll keep it short...went out to run tonight and i lost three times by about 2 1/2 lengths to the same guy.... he was driving a nissan sentre SE-R Spec v (2.5L).... he had a lot of work done to his car but for some reason this loss really bothers me because he was talking a lot of smack afterwards... so i need help decided what to do to my car next.... performance mods i currently have inlcude, CAI, Throttle body, 4-1 race headers, UDP. (Headers and UDP going on Wednesday) i know i want the turbo as soon as you have it ready.... i'll probably drop everything and drive down to your store when you say its ready. but for now im going to have to do nitrous.... but my question is what can i change now that wont effect the setup for the turbo.... i know im going to have to lose the headers and intake but what else can i do that i wont have to change again??im going to order the balance shaft delete kit, is that okay? and maybe a better clutch...what would you or anyone suggest??? for nitrous i want to get a zex 75 shot.... so what do i need to do?? thanks for the input everyone!!

dude i know exactly how you feel. i win races, i'm content with my mods, if i loose, then its like, what can i buy. i would say forget the nitrious idea.....build your motor nice and strong....the mods you have help, but they are very minor, get the cosworth intake manifold and and a nice exhaust system and reflash you computer.....it will help (91 octane)

dont feel bad man, the sentra's got a 6-spd and ALOT more torque than us duratec guys. close to 30 lb-ft. so it's expected that he wins. when i race cars that i know are faster i hope that i can out drive/shift them. i've beat so many faster cars because of there lack of driving skills.

...hope you find some peace about this

The 3 inch Exh , Cosi Intake , and leave the rest to the turbo , you will cover him by 3 to 4 cars with that combo

The delete is fine to do

If you did not have your headers on then put them on and go re race him I bet he won't be talking has much smack cause you won't lose that bad then IMO. Or you may even beat him.

I didn't think the Cosi manifold was good for boost?

He's got you covered in the torque department by a good 30 lb-ft. but with the ZEX, you'll have no problem outrunning him.

Look into drag radials as well, if he has to play catch up b/c he has no grip, it will give you an even better chance...

cosi intake manifold is next then and then the sct ..... is it a good idea though to run nitrous now and then turbo?

Save the money, buy some lambo doors.. and when you lost next time, open up the doors and say "Well, at least I LOOK better than you"

Hehe. But i completely agree with Floord. Every time someone takes me, I just want to go take out a loan, throw about 5k into the car, and then track that bastard down, ESPECIALLY if he (or she) is smack-talker
