LOL Viney... how far back did you have to go to dig this up again??? We few and far between wagoneers oughta do our duty to keep this one on the front page.. but then we kinda run out of things to talk about.
Wind noise is still louder than I want it in my wagon, but I've discovered that the doors aren't lined up right, however Ford won't fix it because it makes some slight contact.. the jerks. Any body men in the house know what to do to get a door to lean in at the top? I know on some old GM's there was a way to wedge an old socket in the hinge to raise the door back up so it would hit the latch. I'm not sure if that will work on Foci though.

I have issues with rear tire wear as well. sucks...
As to the doors. The hinges on the focus doors suck , in a word. There is some play in the door if you loosen the hinge bolts. You may be able to correct your problem that way. I wouldn't try to "spring" the door with the socket that way. One of my good friends is a body man, I"ll ask him if he knows any tricks.. |

Thanks... I'll check my tread for even wear to see if the camber problem is still an issue on later model wagons, but it's probably too early to tell for sure.

I love wagons, but the power is so low that I had to get my lil' ST. Wagons Rule, just doing my part to keep this thread on the front page.

LOL yeah the 03/04 PZEV wagons got it all going on. I'm having a really hard time fighting off the urge to buy a stroked 2.3 from Tom. What's keeping me from it is that one thing I've learned from my time as an enthusiast is that cars are better if you specialize. I'm just up in the air over getting into autocross or back into drag racing.
Although.. there is one trick that wagons have over the other bodies for drag racing.... rear air springs or load helper air spring add ons. Pull up, pump up, less weigh transfer to the rear

^^^ Agreed, they need a little. The power adders for the regular Fofo fit the wagon !!! |
