Received my Cosworth balance shaft delete kit today. Ordered it from Tony @ New Edge Performance. Probably will put it in on Monday or Tuesday.

No, use a plastic scrapper. Razor blades could scratch the metal surface, and could lead to a poor seal.

True, I just like the sharp razor blades because it get's the surface real clean. I was just saying that using a dull blade can get gouge the surface because you would use more force to get the blade moving, unlike having a sharp blade. It's easy to do if you use care.

But yea, there's a groove that goes along the middle of the surface, and a razor is not the tool to scrape that stuff out... a plastic card or something would come in handy there.

Paid $29.95. Don't know how many Tony has left, he only received 5 kits. He is ordering or has ordered 20 more, but coming from England, not sure how long it will be before they come in.
