Stock ZX3 - How fast once gov is removed?

I live in Italy. Speed limits here are blatantly ignored. My commute to work every day is 20 miles of pretty straight highway. I spend the day bouncing off of the 108mph governor. Once you get a chip to remove the governor, how fast can this car go? 120-130 would be my guess...

What seems very fast in the States is commonplace over here. I get blown off the road daily by the Beemers, Audis and Mercs going about 120-130 the whole time...

SUre, but it's even better to have an Alfa Romeo or BMW in Europe. Imagine going on a long road trip and never slowing below 120mph. Of course, when they DO have accidents over here....

My guess would be about 115 to 120 on a stock car with gov. removed.

One thing to consider would be engine RPM's at speed too. I don't know about you guys but I wouldn't want to run my car at near max RPM for any extended time.

I think 120 would be tops, due to lack of HP.

umm i hit the limiter in 4th around 3-4k rpms with just intake and exhaust. i'm sure i can get to 120-130 easily. my friend hit 140 in a toyota avalon. but yes a chip would work. maybe even a supercharger. they dont cost too much and some come with tuning/chips or a reflash for your ecu. look at focussport.com assuming you have the 2.0 zetec

5th gear at 5500rpms is about 134 135 there is a pic of someone with a few mods one being a chip he took a pic of his car while going about 140 I think he said it slowed down while he was trying to get the camera.
