Unhappy Bad "Off Track" at the last AutoCross

Yep.
The Rev lost it big time coming into the slalom.
Here's a quick vid of just the "incident".
("Save Target As" might work faster than "Open")

So,
If you can be of any help in my suspension diagnosis, take a jaunt over here...>>>Clicky

Otherwise;
I shoulda known better.
It's tough when you're in the heat of the moment, and the only thing I was concentrating on was making all the gates.
What I SHOULD have done, is lock it down....Live and Learn.

bah! I was expecting dirt and parts flying! You barely dipped off the pavement...

as for advice, I have none. Everytime my tires make noise my girlfriend yells at me. Maybe I can send her to you, and she'll help you stay on-course. I can't say what she'll do to your times, though.

Focus go off the road.

From the angle you had your wheel at, I am guessing you are now slightly in the negative camber?

Holy crap! That was crazy. I didn't know an SVTF could swing like that! Did the car hop at the end there? I looked like you were gonna flip. Also, technically, you didn't go "off" track

True about the off-road portion. You folks are so critical...
I've been watching this over and over, and trying to analyze when the damage occurred to the left rear.
The left front hit first, then the left rear.
There's clearly a rather large jolt that you can see (and hear...ouch) in the video that confirms that.
I do feel lucky about not flipping there SVTmonkey.
The LR wheel did sustain a small 1" long bit of asphalt rash,
so I know I was WAY too close to catching a rim, and ending my day in a real bad way.

I am guessing you are now slightly in the negative camber?
Nope. Just the opposite.
I lost over 1/2 of negative camber in the left rear.
Last alignment was a hair over 1 negative.
It's almost straight up and down now.

I was committed once I swung for the last time back to the left.
It's at least a 14" drop off at that point on the track.
No way I was going to lock em up, and totally take out the under carriage by sliding over it.

Here's the "static" shot of the area....

Yeah, not as bad as I thought it would be. Definitely overcooked that slalom though, came in wayyyy too hot. "Slow is Fast" brother... (I definitely let the red mist get to me from time to time too)

BTW, You guys have some awesome venues down there in MT. I'm so jealous. So big and high speed!

Yeah, it was the last run of the day, and I barely had a second to pick up in order to pull in with a 1st place finish overall.
So, I tried a different line in the preceding sweeper, to carry more speed.

As you all can CLEARLY see, I didn't need any more speed coming into the slalom.

BTW, You guys have some awesome venues down there in MT. I'm so jealous. So big and high speed!
I feel pretty fortunate to have this track right in my back yard....well, 10-12 minutes from the house.

Full vid (of a clean run) will be up soon.
Wait till you see the whole track!
