korean u are full of BS in my eyes. an elantra is a mid 16 sec car at best. the svt focus is a 16 flat at worst. go to www.car-stats.com an auto elantra is in 17s. a stock zx3 could beat u. my ex gf had an auto elantra 2000 with the 2.0 and i whooped it in when my zx3 was stock. the svt isnt an easy car to race right but your friend isnt pushing that car to its potential and it definately isnt something id go onto a focus forum trying to brag about. thats just askin for trouble... lmao @ the stock 15 sec elantra

I've got a friend with a prelude that has a number of things done to it. He runs a 7 sec 0-60 with out trying. I Say BIG BS on your car running a 7 sec 0-60. Get the SVT checked out for problems and then run again and eat his dust. lol

also the guys did post a pic with the svt and it has the right bumper and the engine looks right. So it may be a svt but still it has to have problems if it lost to his car.

korean- I know you didn't come in here claiming your car is better and talking all kinds of sh!t, but your race just doesn't sound truthful. That's why your getting so much sh!t. Short of us being there watching I doubt your going to get anyone to jump on your band wagon. If it was a ZX3 then the bad driver situation would be belivable. Sorry man

I live somewhat near the 818 area code. Cept I am a bit more south in the OC. I got a 2.3L Pzev. I'm comfident I can run a decent 15 seconds if you are up for it.

I had an elantra, they are peppier then people think. A manual elantra can do a 15.9 with perfect driving. Also removing the stock airbox resonator has dynoed an extra 3-5hp.

I still think the other guy cant drive, you should trade cars and race again and see how bad you slaughter the elantra. If you dont slaughter the elantra then better that that SVT for some warranty work. Is it possible he put SVT badging/wheels on a regular focus?

Asides from the guy in the SVT not knowing how to drive there are a few other factors to consider.

- the Elantra weighs ~2635 lbs , more than 100 less than an SVT

- SVT has 6 gears = more shifts (more lost time if the guy can't drive properly)
