Gauge that plug into the obd 2 port on all 1996 and new cars, displays a hombre of gauges including instant mpg, average etc. google it

Today with 220,000miles driving on the freeway at 65-70 MPH I get 31-33 MPG. If I haul, goes to 27 MPG.

The best I got (AC on) was 34 MPG in 2009.

Last 3 tanks of mixed rural and freeway, average 33.2.

Still catching up on deferred maintenace from the previous owner. Need to do rear bushings to rid myself of the shopping cart-like auto steering.

about 24-25 mpg

but when I drive it 60mph instead of 70mph on the highway and do slow starts in city, can go 28-30mpg

I used to get 31-32 MPG in my 05 focus SES 2.0 with CAI and Magnaflow exhaust. city was around the same. I never drove faster than 70 MPH and used cruise control everywhere so that may have helped. it was also the 5spd
