I bought my 2003 ZX3 about 6 weeks ago. It has 90,000 miles and runs great. I live in Sacramento California and took a trip up to South Shore Lake Tahoe and got 38 miles to the gallon. I average 33 on the freeway and 26 around town.

last fillup calculated out to 25mpg. Usually I run 27-28

I flat-foot it a lot, and sticky tires do not help

the car is a 5spd '03 cali emissions PZEV sedan with 78k+ miles on it

Summertime it seems to be around 30, no matter how I drive. No long road trips yet though

2001 zx3 Manual 220,000 miles.
Special crank pulley, cold air intake, lighter wheels, bigger tires, lowered springs, AM dampers, mostly all highway miles.

lets put it this way, after building my car cosworth-style and then getting it dyno-tuned by Tom I got 28 mpg on the way home...not bad

I'm at 59xxx miles now and i get 23 in the city and 28 on the highway

can't complain

although even with stock i never broke 29.99999 mpg...woulda thought with a 4 banger i woulda gotten 30something...oh well
