didn't mean to ruffle anyones pink panties.

edit: forgive me, i was slightly wrong about massive's... the only picture i saw was the head on shot with the strange hood and eyelids. i looked again at the others and only saw the eyelids. that makes my opinion half retracted. okay?

Strange hood & eyelids? I have a stock Focus hood & stock Focus hid headlights...no eyelids.
If you mean this pic

The title states: test-fit hood. I swapped the entire front clip on my car to pre-2005, and was test fitting the hood to make sure it bolted up the same as the 05 hood, before I changed the fenders, bumper, grill & headlights.

Hope that clears up any misunderstanding It definitely would be a strange looking ride if it was left like that.

Wow. That's pretty cool. You should have left it like that. More air to the engine

Yeah, totally. You could be racing someone down the road, and pull the hood lever below the steering wheel... and whala! You've got ram air!

God that'd be hilarious if that would work for a race. You'd see Foci owners all over the place with their hoods popped open, and you'd know what went down.

yea more air....more rocks, more animals lol..........nah but in reality it would just increase the drag on the car and at hi speeds i wouldnt be surprised if it ripped of and smacked into the windshiel.....although it would probably fly back and demolish the guy behind you so i guess it would be good for racing

Thanks for the clarification. Gosh, that test hood wasn't very pleasant to look at.

I retract PART of my statements. Are ya all pleased with yourselves now??

I didn't mean to ruffle anyone's PURPLE panties.

Only if they are purple with black polka dots my darling. I will fly out immediately if you can confirm that.
