The price point that's "winning" currently in the poll is exactly why the car will never sell here, even on a Focus enthusiast site the majority of responders are only interested in spending a few thousand more than the current cost of today's best model. If that car came here, and sold for the price the majority says they want, it would not be equipped with half the stuff that makes it so appealing.

The point is moot. As Ford will nto bring a car like this to the US. They scrapped the SVT, and don't plan on bringing it back. I tdon't know why we thing we would get this in America.

everything is reasonable in that car , just the whole thing is that i rather sit on the left side of the car. but i wouldnt put to much of a price for it, even though it looks alot better then the civic.

Does anyone know if there is an MK2 kit out for the 05'?
I know there is an RS kit but that is not as appealing IMO.

the price point that's winning is from a demographic of buyers that went towards entry level cars. clearly in europe this is not entry level car.

they're completely different buyer demographics, that's why ford won't bring it over here. it would interfere with the volvo S40 (which is the same chassis, interior options, engine and drivetrain, and well what do you know, same price too)

@35k you can get a fully loaded 05 G35C, and with options on any luxury vehicle, the ST's interior doesn't hold up. And while on that matter, it is quite hard to find luxury vehicles without the interior options, as I went to virtually and physically many Lexus and Infiniti dealership while helping my father choose a car.
