SVT intake manifold install?

A friend of mine recently put the Jackson Racing supercharger into his SVT and is now offering me his stock intake manifold. Any idea if it would bolt up to my Zetec and not cause problems? I know the SVT has those long and short runners and whatnot. He was thinking we could just gut out the manifold and slap it on. Just looking for another opinion.

this install has been done by a few members on FF, the manifold WILL bolt right up, but you'll have to get the SVT intake box/hoses or an SVT cai or short ram, and you'll have to rig up an rpm window switch to activate the DSI switchover. it's a lot easier than it sounds, and has some good results

I'm told that there's a cable that connects to some controll rod that opens/closes the butterfly valve inside the manifold. Does my ZTS have such a cable? I'm thinking no which leads me to ask: What do I do about that? Is there a "how to" write up anywhere because I haven't found anything yet.

ok, you need the complete svt manifold - 2 pieces, one is a small piece that bolts to the head, the fuel injectors will plug into this piece, and the other is the larger part that the throttle body attaches to. you also need the IMRC (intake manifold runner control) actuator, which is housed in the driver's front fenderwell on the svt. the cable runs from the IMRC actuator to the intake manifold. now I'd have to go grab the wiring diagrams from my shop to tell you exactly how to wire up the RPM window switch so that the runners would change over at the right time, but it's not too difficult. do a search though, because I know a few zetec guys on the board have done this install, they'd be able to tell you exactly what's involved better than I would.

If you succeed with the installation let me know how good it works.
