Ok so maybe "wierd" wasn't the word he said. It was when I called Moderen Performance, I was ordering my Borla cat back. The guy I was talking to, was asking me what year, body type ,ect. When he asked me if it was a Zetec or SPI, I said Zetec. He then asked, automatic or manual, I said manual. He then said, "Wow a Zetec sedan with a manual, thats "Wierd" . Now he didn't say that word because I forgot the real word he said but It pratically means "wierd". Anyways, what is wierd about that? Are most Zetec sedans automatics or something? And GUERRO I didn't do that thing this time LOL.

Let's ... see ... when ... I ... test ... drove ... a ... focus ... (ok enough of that) for the first time it was a sedan and that was a standard. So I have no idea what the hell that guy was talking about.

I think his rational is this: The majority of people buying sedans are John and Jane Doe, that want a commuter car and don't know how to drive a stick. The hatch has a slightly higher number of enthusiests, thus are more likely to equip their car with a manual for a performance point of view.

I don't know about you, but the majority of Focuses by me are sedans. I don't know how many are ATXs, but I'm willing to bet almost all of them are.

Cool to see you got thte MTX-75 in yours.

(Little side note: when trying to find my PZEV in NY, about 98% of the cars on dealer lots were ATXs)

See i've yet to even see a ZTS or ZTW i'm not even lieing. In my area there are SEs and LXs out the freaking arse i'm talking you can't spit without hitting one. ZX3s are rare and ZX5s are non existant. To be honest it wasn't until a month or so ago i read they even put Zetecs in sedans/wagons.

well unfortunately my car is a zts and its automatic but when i was at the dealer to buy my car i was looking at another zts that was stick so i guess the guy just had some confusion or something

I always thought that the sedans and wagons were all automatics. I never know that they had manuals in them. Same as you Solaris, all SE's and LX (I hardly ever see a ZTS or ZTW Focus), maybe 5 ZX3's and 3 ZX5's. None modded (that I can see) except my own.

most all of the cars I looked at were automatic, then I found my SE w/zetec and the 5spd, now if only it came with a Tach I'd have everything I really wanted.
