Keep Focus or get new 2005 Mustang?

I am struck with a problem and was hoping for some advice. I have a 2003 Focus Zx3. The car is great and stick but the other day I saw the new Mustang that was coming out in 2005. Unfortunately I can't afford to support both cars, so I'm stuck between keeping the Focus or getting the Mustang when it coem out. What should I do?

lets see here...
nice sporty compact car
or real sports car?

if the new mustang is half as good as it is made out to be, i dont think there is really even a question. if i had the $ i would go with the mustang

just my .02, though i doubt it is worth that much.

I was thinking that but then I also though it would be cool to have one of the first ones before everyone and their mother has one.

ford does seem to have a problem with screwing up something on the first couple of models. but its usually covered under waranty. i dont think its that big of a deal. if it is, get an extended waranty.

Wait a year or so, not only for the bugs to be worked out, but for the Cobra version of it. Hell yeah! Not everyone and their mom will be getting a Cobra. Most everyone will probably be getting the V6 base model - I don't know specific numbers but it sure seems to me like I see more base models running around than GT's.

good point. basically I believe in that if you can't handle v-8 in a mustang you shouldn't have one anyway.

Yep, me too on the V8 thing. I'm thinking about this new Mustang too - I probably couldn't afford the Cobra but the GT most likely. I might steal the wheels from the base model though, I like they way they look more than the wheels that are going to come with the GT. I dunno, still a few years off I guess, but I am dying to see these start showing up at dealers so I can see it up close and personal.
