focus central header crack

i have a focus central header on my 2001 zx3 it has a crack on the weld its the 1 they recalled called focus central i the dude told me he would give me a new 1 for $200. i think he should give me a new one for free and i well give him the old 1 back . ps my boy lee has same header with same crack

yea...i have the same crack, and i ride with it every day..dont give one more penny to those vultures..they said they wouldnt take my header back because they dont have a receit...um...its a FOCUS CENTRAL HEADER!!! who else makes focus central headers, besides focus central!!..they are bastards..id say save up and get the fs or obx header and stay away from fc...they are only good for their tb

heh if it makes you feel any better i got a FS race header, and its the 2nd one where the flange bent.

First they told me i over tourqe'd it. (i used an impact gun)

2nd one, i used a hand torque wrench. 18lb's like they said, guess what. 2.5 months later. I got another exhaust leak from a bent flange.

Then, they also dont like to fit up to flex pipes that arent thiers. I had to bore out the edges of both pipes to fix an exhaust leak that way as well.

You put parts like these on your cars, you gotta realize your gonna fix them repeatedly.
