Where do I get power door lock and power window kits for 2006 Focus?

I am the proud new owner of a 2006 Focus ZX4 S. I LOVE THE CAR. It's fast and I'm looking forward to customizing the car in the coming months.

I only have two problems that I hope you guys can help out with.

Because of my budget I bought the base model which does not come with power door locks or windows.

Is there a dealer of aftermarket kits to convert the manual door locks and windows to power versions?

I don't think power window kits are a problem since the focus is pretty standard. The locks are another issue. They are cable style locks.

Is there a good vendor of power door lock kits that work with the focuses cable style locks?

Every power door lock kit I've found through google states that it does not work with cable style locks(such as those in ford focuses).

take a pic of the interior...
if i'm not mistaken you will need door panels...if they are similar in style maybe you could find some older style sedan panels with all the electronics

Dude you shorted yourself and that sucks you should of got one with power windows and locks if it meant that much to you, now your going to spend some money anyways doing a aftermarket job that is not going to work or look as good. Just curious how much more is it for a ZX4 with power options? Anyways congrats on your new purchase, focus is a fun car.

ease up a little on him, sometimes you cant get exacly what you want. You will probably need new panels, maybe you could get them from a focus salvage company. I dont know because it is so new, do all the foci years use the same locks/windows?

i got my ZX4 SES for 13G and sunroof. i would think the SE is 1500 $ less?

i got my 05 Zx3 S for 10,500 tax, title, license out the door. no power locks or windows. only option is a/c. and i am happy. no extra weight, nothing to break in the future. and plus economy type cars with a 5 speed hold their value better in the long run than the same car with a lot of options.

You seem confused anyways Ive thought about trading my ST for the new Fusion and as you will discover you will take a huge hit for a trade in, the Fusion is not an option anymore for me. For the extra $1500 bucks you should have bought your Focus with some power options, it would have cost you an extra $20 a month.

Just go to your local alarm shop, they can install the power lock cable kit for you, its 159.00 plus installation....might as well pay and extra 60.00 bucks and get the siren and kill switch also.....
