lol, i know thats a horrible trap speed for that time...heres my problem though..right when my header turns from a 4 to a 2 header...theres a huge crack, and i have another exhaust leak at my flexpipe

i was pretty impressed though with my 1/8, ever since i switched to the volant ive seen persistant 2 tenth drops from the iceman, i forgot to change my computer setting to the added fuel setting, which usually gives me better numbers, but over all, i was happy enough, my tires r bald to hell..i had a full tank of gas, and i just wanted to have some fun..battle rotas n kumhos are hopefully in the mail by now, but i just wanted to see how the volant took. previous to this night my best was a 15.8 so it wasnt so bad, that trap speed is do to the exhaust leak im sure.

With the cams and gears, your trap should be about 89-91...but if you werent hooking and had an exhaust leak, that could be a problem. I hit a almost 88 without cams and gears, so. The exhaust leak is killin ya.

hmm, these threads kinda give me an idea what im going to run... when the car comes out of the shop... the only things you have that i dont are the udp, chip and coil and wires... but i have lsd & lightweight flywheel. so i guess i'll see how i do once its outta the shop.

A Chip will make more of a difference than an LSD and flywheel. You might get traction, but your torque will be low from not having any increased timing. Since you might get better traction than we do, you will prolly end up getting the same time as he does if not, slower.

lol..then you definitely should be running as fast if not slightly quicker. I assume you are running lean, which will definitely help, but imagine being that lean with timing jacked up and running a splash 116..

to be honest i have no idea if im running lean... the car is still in the shop getting the clutch, flywheel, lsd, head, cams, and cam gears installed. so i havent had a chance to drive it yet with all that stuff... do you think im running out of injector and thats why i'd be running lean? or just because there is more airflow? btw a chip is the next thing on my list.
