What car should i get.

i have about 3000 to put down on a new car. it has to be from a dealer which kinda sucks but anyways. i wanted something FWD for the purpouse i need to drive in the snow basically and dont have a way around it. i only wanted to spend under 10k but i am really considering dishing out the extra 5 grand or so and getting an srt-4. it most likely will be to much though. what do you all think?

Depends on your needs. SRT-4 is a beast in a straight line and can be modded to be very fast. It handles like crap though which means you will be spending a lot of money there to get it up to par.

A Focus is a great base car and can be made into a HUGE sleeper. You just have to have the patience with it. I didn't make it .

well... even though this is a focus board... for about 10,000... you can do alot with used cars. New you're looking at mayb the base model focus "s". Or a neon... Something of the sort. Personally if I was looking to spend about 10,000, I would go used. You can get a quality vehicle for 10,000 used. Did you have a year restriction that you didnt want to go so old or soemthing. Cause there are a ton of cars that fall into the under 10,000 fwd or awd.

I'd pass on the SRT-4 since Dodge cancelled the Neon, that should say something. It's got the power though....

I don't know, the best thing to do is just test drive a bunch of cars in that price range and pick whatever suits your needs the best.
