lol well the Honolulu advertiser makes for excellent floormats so I only need to vacuum my car twice a year haha
the panel did impede on my alarm wiring, so I had to "massage" the panel into it's final position, although I still might rewire everything later so it fits properly

It also helps that your island is waay more city like. Damn country island, I have to vacuum my car once a month. My carpet is so filthy.
When you redo your wiring, you should also relocate your alarm brain. Under the steering column is a common place and easily accessible. There's a good amount of room behind the radio surround in the dash. If I ever get that 2-way pager alarm I want, mine is going in there. Oh, I got my DDM Tuning kit in today. Tiny ballast is tiny!

ST170 fogs are hella expensive. I was thinking about doing projector fogs today, but I wasn't sure if the bumper hole was big enough. I was gonna use Blazer projector fogs ($30), cut a hole and mount them, and maybe vacuum form a shroud or use the front half of the ES300 casing since it has this plastic lens to protect the projector.
There's some on ebay, but you have to watch which ones you get. The real blazer projector fogs take 880 bulbs, which is the same as ours, so that's a plus!

Reading back three posts, you said you're gonna vacuum form the shrouds for the projector? How you gonna do that? Is that what you were gonna do to make the clear third brake light?
