I think Cy started a thread in the Exterior Body & Lighting Chat. It's off to a good start, but still no shrouds.

Indeed! Still no shrouds, but i made some big progress today! I realized that my driver side was way off due to me eyeballing it and poor mounting choice. So on the passenger side, i used L-brackets that i got from homedepot and trimmed them. I then drilled holes on the bottom of my fx35's, and put the brackets on. Passenger side is all cherry!

It also seems that i have some stray light coming from the back of the projector, reflecting into the bowl. I think i saw somewhere that i can use foil tape to keep this from happening again.

Oh, heres the shrouds i ordered. They are perfect for the fx! I didnt order them from TRFS, since it was butt-rape for shipping. I ended up getting it for $50 shipped

I also need to figure out how to seal the area where you access the bulb. I think i can use a PVC pipe or something if the stock twist one doesnt fit.

Oh, and even with only one projector on, and no other headlamps, that one projectors output was much greater than both of the silverstar ultras. i cant wait to get these done

Heres a shitty vid of teh passenger side in action, along with its bixenon function.

ooooh clean cut off better than mine

I'm pissed at my headlights because my right headlamp started fogging up during this past weeks rain. I still don't get what the purpose of those rubber "drain" things are for on the back of the headlights. Might as well plug them up and REALLY make them airtight!

What did you use to seal them up? I found some Nissan Butyl sealant laying around. This is really good stuff and is made for headlights. You should try some on your passenger lamp.

I was gonna order the Nissan stuff. I think you sent me the link somewhere. I was kinda impatient so I used Permatex silicone adhesive instead. I think the drain things on the back may be the cause for the fogging though
