svt fuel pump flow

everywhere i search, the svt focus fuel pump is rated at 255lph.

i know in 2002 svt the fuel pump is different for some reason (thats what ford told me) and maybe the 2003 is the same as 2002.

but in 2004 the part number is diffferent, did they maybe change them to a 255lph?

i know some mustang guys use them cause they are a upgrade.
now can someone provide proof of what it is
195lph or 255lph?

cause i mean every where it says they are rated at 255.

This is from my Airtex fuel pump book from 2005, the web site shows different part numbers for some reason.


The old pumps where an E2325M:



Flow was,
60 - 70 Gallons Per Hour wide open
80 - 100 PSI shut off pressure
Turbine style pump


The new pump (update pump) was (Click here to see why I say "was") an E2299M:



Flow was,
55 - 65 Gallons Per Hour wide open
90 - 110 PSI shut off pressure
Turbine style pump


According to Airtex the newest pump is an E2386 but it's not listed in my old book. I'll look at the store when I go down to get parts next time and update accordingly.


BTW, there is no difference in any of the zetec or SPI fuel pumps all the same and all interchange.

I beleive they are in the 190lph , tested them back in the day but dont have that here they were not 255lph
