Modding is the only way for a true enthusiast. Even on a winter beater I am always looking for ways to improve.

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired of people saying not to mod a car. Whether it be a 4 cylinder Focus or a V8, if you want to mod it and have the money, and it makes you happy or like the car better then DO IT!

I used to own a 3.8l V6 1998 Firebird I modded quite a bit. Nothing major like FI but intake, exhaust, headers, appearance goods... etc, I got sooooo much crap from LS1 cars for doing anything to my 'poor' V6. It was faster than any other V6 Fbody and stood out, made me smile, gave me a hobby, and to me was money well spent. Just don't expect every penny back when you sell it.

Mod away!

Definitely worth it if it makes you happy, not everything in life can be done logically. And you only live once right?
