I guess it all depends but dumping tons of money into it...not worth it. Little mods here and there not that bad really.

I mod my car because I like the fact that when I walk outside I can look at my car and say "Yes, this is my car. Although thousands were made, this one is mine and it reflects me."

You decide how much money is enough or too much. If some people didn't overdo it, then there would be a lot of things us "sensible" folk wouldn't have.

When i was looking at cars i wanted a hatchback that i could work from the back of the car. I wanted something with a hatch similar to my moms minivan. Its a perfect setup with the back raising up almost like a canopy. You could prop a cover over the hatch and use it as shade if needed. The rear is almost like a moving work bench.

The ZX3 seem to fit everything i wanted, fairly small, good gas mileage and 2 doors which i needed.

When i looked at them i seen the SVT and i was hooked i wanted one like that but i cant drive a stick (wheelchair have to have hand controls)

So my only option was to get one and try and make it look like an SVT

When i found mine it was a bone stock 07 SE perfect starting point. When my nephew seen it he said "that thing looks like something an old fat school teacher would drive" So the mods begin!

I agree with my nephew though, when i first got it, It was a pretty ugly car.

$2k later...

My car has issues I'm replacing the rear shocks cuz they are worn out I'm just trying to get mine to spec (taking out the small dents paint) the only mod I will likely have is an aftermarket exhaust because my exhaust is cracked and the flowmaster is on sale I'm a collage student and I plan to get engaged and go back to school soon (going to community collage paying rent and then transfering to a four year college for the last two years) so paying the loan for the car and doing repairs will be enough for me the focus is fun to drive and economical....besides I already have a custom sunroof :D

This is a tough one. There are trade offs with everything, but I think its worth it. More for the hobby factor than anything!

I use to think that.

My last hobby was flying R/C helicopters. For some reason it stressed me out, it was fun but when i went to fly them i got so stressed about crashing them it drove me nuts. It shot my blood pressure way up and i got headaches.

I havnt flown one in a while and i feel alot better.

Definitely worth it unless you live in a place where your local government is against it. People need to get out out and vote more.

Also, people need to stop making car guys look bad by doing stupid shit that gets themselves or someone else killed.

INCLUDING, posting videos of street racing and doing retarded crap even when people don't get hurt on the internet.
