Uhm, sure why not. Working on the car keeps me home close to wife and kid. Though I cannot say that I spend less because I am home more. That damn internet, it is such a facilitator.

its all in how you look at it, if it makes you happy and makes the car more enjoyable to drive then of course its worth it.

Everyone has something, a hobby, an obsession, that they put their time and money's an escape, an expression, just about whatever you want it to be. I think it's definitely worth it.
I completely agree with this quote.

It is most definitely worth it, money going toward something that isn't bad for you. Many people do stupid stuff with money but if you like your car then why not. I spend alot of time in the car so i would like to enjoy that time.

It's only worth it to the people who are interested in it. Just like not everyone is interested in stamp collecting, but some people spend a fortune on that. its all personal preference.

I don't see why not. I enjoyed modifying both my focus' and I definitely felt some power from them, and I enjoyed selling them for relatively close to what I bought them for after wrenching on my cars for many hours. I like a little grease in my veins. As far as the gains go they were pretty minimal and over priced, but you can't put a price on something that puts your mind at ease and gives you a real feeling of self accomplishment.

That said, I don't plan on doing any work beyond routine maintenance on my Honda because I'm afraid I'll screw it up..but both the focus' were like legos.
this is bob. bob has bitch tits.

I think so.

Performances upgrades are more than just making your car go faster, It's about making your car YOURS! It's about emotion and wanting, and if you don't enjoy driving your car, then whats the point!!!
