I think it's worth it! I'm kinda never satisfied with performance so I like to improve and improve. as long as I don't blow everything in the car then yes it's worth it.

I would spend $220 to get to drop 1l/100km off my fuel efficiency (presently 9.0 l/100km or 26.1mpg). So the CAIs are very attractive assuming the mileage claims are accurate.

sure it is. If it's your hobby and pass-time. And plan on keeping your ride for awhile.

I believe it's worth it. If you don't you'll wish you did, If you do you wish you didn't. So it's whatever you feel at the time. It's a lot fun aswell, and if you really didnt want to mod, you wouldnt buy a car that could.

Sure doing mods is expensive and all; but like everyone has said already; you're truly making your car your own. As long as you're doing it yourself... If your just paying someone to build your car up, especially a focus, you're crazy because you will lose some cash.. To me as long as it stays within the realm of something fun to do and allows me to create something fun to drive; it's worth it!

i'm more into DIY mods. in my focus i had a starter button, a single neon in the hatch, strobes in the hatch, LEDS in the grill, and 3 extra cigarette lighter plugs, all done by myself, and trust me it feels good to know that you did it yourself.
but with my audi i'm more into keeping it clean, as it already has a few mods (GIAC chip, rims) and came stock with a turbo.

I kind of agree with you.....however, we (wife and I) purchased a nice set of decals (subtle) and cais. This is all we plan to do. I like the appearance of the decals, and the sound and the upped power with the cai. I think that was worth it. total cost less than 500 dollars and I had to have someonedo the work.

car modding is good for a boredom device. it is HORRIBLE when you tally up all the money you spent on the mods and think of what you could have paid off with that same $$$$.........
