My opinion is I think it is worth it. But more or less when it is not your daily driver. I mean I have thrown a little bit of money in here and there but I don't want to do to much till I have another means of transportation because there are to many stupid drivers around here and I really don't want 5 secs of my life and boom it is all gone!

It was definitely worth the fun of it when I had my focus. But the insurance company only offered me 182 bucks for $3000 worth of parts receipts i sent them when my car got totaled. We're still making phone calls and fighting with the retarded insurance company over it.

tropssucof, that sucks! good luck! as for modding, unfortuantely there are some people out ther that just don't get it which is fine. For most of us it is prabably like a hobby that we get to enjoy on our way to work or other places we go everyday

i basically feel, that financially it isnt worth it, because of the fact that once you buy a car it basically devalues from there... but if thats what you love to do and it makes you happy then go for it... i feel this way cause it keeps my mind off all the b.s. in my life ... and i have something to be proud of..

I do it for expression. I don't particularly enjoy doing the work, but I love the end result. I like creating something and standing back and saying "damn that looks/sounds good"

I am still new to the whole modding thing. I've made plans with other past cars of mine, but never followed through with it. I decided that now that I have a half way decent paying job, I would mod my Focus. I am enjoying it and am planning on some more DIY projects as soon as I get the materials, i.e. paint and primer and such. FF has been a big help with this. Just wanted to say a big THANKS.

I think it is if you have a plan, do the research and follow through from start to finish instead of just making it up as you go along.
