I could have traded my car in and got something I really wanted. In the long run it's just not worth it.
So why not just leave whatever mods you already have on your ride and enjoy them while you do have the car instead of going back to stock? I mean, if you've already spent the money and have the part installed why take them back out? If you are planning on trading it in, maybe your mods will increase the trade in value of the car. Good luck in your family building endeavors.

I think it's worth it. It's a way that you can make your car unique and give it a personality. You, the owner, can decide how much money you want to sink into the car.

it's definitely worth it....it's a hobby, and if you like it why not do it...you can modify it your own personal way, so you feel comfortable driving it and sitting/looking in/at it

Cool

I voted it is worth it. Everyone has there own style and wants there ride to say this car is mine. I like cars that are rare or limited production. I have allways wanted to do something, to make mine stand out from the others. Spend only what you can afford. Make the dollars you spend count, cai, header, cat back, wires coil. The big jump turbo. Maybe a sweet paint job.Just don't go crazy it is only a ride. Spend to much and you could have gotten a nicer ride with that money. 2003zts

of course its not financially worth it because a modded car is usually worth less then a stock car. but is it worth it beacuse its something i enjoy, HELL YES

You go play a round of golf...what do you have to show for it? It is the same thing. It is just as expensive.

even for a broke college kid i feel its worth it, if i didnt mod my car and just treated it like just another car, i would have no appreciation for the piece of machinery it is.... and i also never would have met some of the people i have met, including some of my best friends i have.... so would i say modding is worth it? YEAH its worth it and its not all about the car, its about the sense of achievement, creativity and places like FF.com where i met some of my best friends
