Any JRSC SVT owners in here?
I just realized that a JRSC is actually 1/2 the cost of the Powerworks kit (2600 vs 5000) and makes still a bit over 200 Hp to the wheels which is reasonable to me for that cost.
I am wondering how many have done this, and what they thought of the SVT specific kit. I've read lotsa bout the Zetec folks, but I am looking for SVT specific info here.

I dont think its that simple :)
1. you would need to fab a new bracket since you would have teh S/C sit higher. 2. where would you find an aftercooler small enough to slip inbetween the S/C and the runners? you also need to make sure its not too intrusive so it doesnt create too much back pressure on the S/C. 3. Then you would need to get the water pump, front radiator, resevoir, etc... I think in the end to add cooling you would add another 800 - 1000$ price onto the JRSC, and it probably wouldnt work nearly as good as the PW aftercooler. 3. engine tuning I believe is far better on the PW setup than it is on the JRSC thats where they get a fair portion of their performance from (AFAIK).

He said 'cooling' but didn't say anything about an intercooler.
With a smaller pully, like the BBK(Comes with tuning from JR/FR) and some water/meth injection, you can get some decent numbers for less than $3500. I also believe that they will be coming out with an SVTF JRSC+BBK as a complete kit for around $3000. This will come with tuning.

i have a JRSC on my car, i love it. I couldnt justify spending almost twice as much for not awhole lot more gain for the powerworks, or even the vortech kic which cost still about $2K more. I am currently running the JRSC, with an intake and no tunning

I've got the BBK for the SVT, and runnign about peak 215whp and 170wtq. Its quite a ride. The tq curve is very flat all the way across the board... its a nice ride. If ya got any questions, I can help ya out.

SVT Performance Chat:
"The place to chat about any SVT or European ST engine performance and exhaust related upgrades." Forced Induction Chat: "Discuss turbocharging, supercharging or adding Nitrous to your engine." You've also got SVT in your title, which helps narrow down the response. FWIW, there's tons of threads in the FI chat pertaining to the SVT with JRSC.

I think it would be a little tough to make a cooler like thiers yourself. But if you can pull it off then by all means go for it. I wish they would just go aheand and put out the frikkin whp numbers on the pw. Also I keep hearing PW is doing a BBK for their kit too... gonna put out a few more psi.
