BAD EGG

I've been out of the auto-x loop for so long that I have no idea of what class I'll be running. I have an SVT with: ORP, Intake, Throttle body, front strut tower bar.....think that's about all that would affect it.
Also would the class change without the ORP using the stock cat? I need to re-register so I can get back into running and hit up some winter series when I get home, practice for the summer. Thanks in advance!

Without the ORP: STS (unless you have R-compond tires, then it would be DSP
With the ORP: DSP (I think)

I think you go straight to Modified without cats, but I could be wrong...

I think you will be in STS.

Not without a cat he won't. Prepared or Modified, but definitely not STS.

I seem to recall having to register DSP or something because of the throttle body? I'm not too sure about running the ORP for events because they do get a little uptight over really loud cars. I appreciate all of your input so far!

you should hear some of the cars in our regions...I mean..a vw engine woth a stinger pipe isn't exactly quiet... some of these mod civics and neons too...some are louder than 90% of the cars running the events.

I just read the rules, and under Section E for Street Prepared it allows for the "modification or removal of emissions devices" while all STS vehicles must "meet or exceed DOT emissions standards"
So ORP = Prepared or Modified http://www.moutons.org/sccasolo/

my friend has an svt with exhaust (catback) and throttle body and he is in DSP

I was thinking the T/B was the sticking point last year. Kicked me to DSP. I just really want to keep things legit and being that I'll be running winter series for the first few months noone really cares. I remember how pissed I was back in the old days when this guy was running HS in a Focus who edged me out a bit but come to find out he had some illegal stuff on his car. I'll get in touch with my regional gurus and find out what's up but thank you all for the input!
