clear lenses

so i recently put clears up in front (grill and corners) and i thought you needed amber bulbs since theyre now clear, so thats what i bought. on this site, the ones with clears have clear bulbs (i dont see any yellow behind the lense) and i was wondering if thats legal in TX. can you have the factory clear bulbs in the grill and corners with clear lenses?????? thanks a bunch.

You obviously haven't seen my car.... heh.... anyway I'm going to blue soon... to find out your local laws call the local Police Dep and ask them. Make sure you know what you're going to say before you say it though.

the bulbs can be any color except red, but they have to flash amber (orange)

ok I ran into this problem with my 95 f-150 had clear front turn signals so I wouldn't have that big ugly orange lamp up front but when I had the light on I wanted everything clear. all I did was go to auto zone bought a 194 bulbs and sockets and drilled a hole in the back of the light housing, used a drimmel to make the square notches for the socket and the cut the wire to the factory turn signal wired to the new socket ran my ground wires and I had white running lights with a amber turn signal, hope this helps
