Seat Belt Warning signal not working
My seatbelt warning signal does not work. The seat belt light comes on but no audible
signal. I have an SCT but it is not the tune, stopped working after the tune was installed. I have yet to reset the ECUor flash it back to the factory setting, or check to see if it works on the front passenger seat. My question is there a sensor in the seat or the seat belt that sets off the signal? Need help or advice? Thanks for any help |

Turning it on and off did not work and I made sure I left it on. I reflashed the car with the factory program and nothing, same problem all other audible warnings are working, all dashboard lights are working. I still yet to check if the warning comes on with the passenger seat belt disengaged. If you guys have any ideas it will help alot. Thank you in advance. I am just concerned about any other safety features are being messed up. I am thinking it is just a loose wire, or broken sensor, there are alot of wires under that seat.

Actually I'am but the car is still under warranty and I want to get it resolved in case something really important is not working

Can you tell me how to turn it off? Hehe, that is the stupidest signal I have in my car.
I was taught at a very young age to always wear your seat belt. I feel naked without it; I put it on if I am changing parking spots in a parking lot. Anyone who doesn't is an idiot, plain and simple. Not an opinion there, especially if you have airbags. I don't care who you are; Mario Andretti could be T-boned by a drunk in an intersection. When I was camping this summer I hated it, the only place I will drive without a belt on. every 15 seconds, ding ding. I know to wear it and don't need to be told. |
